The most convenient - and nicest - place to stay is in Trapani's pedestrianised historic
centre, just north of the port.

couscous (' cuscus' or ' kuscus' as they sometimes spell it around here) a local speciality.

When you enter this bakery through the side door, you'll feel like you've barged into
someone's kitchen - and you have! Thankfully, owner Giovanni Costadura's broad smile
will quickly put you at ease, coupled with some of the best cannoli on the planet, which
you can watch being created on the spot.
