LAGO DI GARDA THRILLS & SPILLS
For adrenalin-sparking rides and stunt shows, it's hard to beat northern Italy's Lago di Garda. The
lake's eastern bank is home to larger-than-life dinosaurs, pirate ships, roller coasters and a dolphinari-
um at the kid-oriented Gardaland ( Click here ).
To its north, CanevaWorld ( Click here ) features an aqua park ( Click here ) and medieval shows
(adult/reduced dinner & show €29/19; 2 shows daily May-mid-Sep) complete with medieval ban-
quet. Within the same sprawling park is CanevaWorld's Movieland Studios ( Click here ), featuring
stunt-packed action shows. Opening times vary slightly throughout the year, so check the website for
details. Cheaper deals and family tickets are also available online.
Both parks are just off the main lake road. Gardaland is 2km from Peschiera del Garda;
CanevaWorld is a similar distance from Lazise. Free buses shuttle visitors to both parks from Peschi-
era del Garda train station.
