Getting Around

TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
There is a frequent train service between Castelferreti station, opposite the terminal, and
Ancona (15 to 25 minutes, €1.50). Alternatively, Conero bus J runs roughly hourly from
the train station to the airport (from 6.50am to 8.30pm Monday to Saturday); bus C runs
four times a day on Sunday and public holidays. The trip costs €1.80 and takes 35 to 45
minutes. From the airport to Ancona, line J runs until 11.30pm. The airport taxi consortium
( 334 1548899) can take you to central Ancona (€38) and Portonovo (€57).

BUS
About six Conero Bus ( www.conerobus.it ) services, including bus 1/3, 1/4 and 1/5, connect the
main train station with the centre (Piazza Cavour), while bus 12 connects the main station
with the ferry port (€1.20); look for the bus stop with the big signpost displaying Centro
and Porto.
