For Florence, take the RA3 (Siena-Florence superstrada) or the more attractive SR222.
TRAIN
Siena isn't on a major train line so buses are generally a better alternative. You'll need to
change at Chiusi for Rome and at Empoli for Florence.
Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
A Siena Mobilità bus travels between Pisa airport and Siena (one way/return €14/26, two
hours), leaving Siena at 7.10am and Pisa at 1pm. Tickets should be purchased at least one
day in advance from the bus station or online.
