This extremely friendly place near Piazza dei Miracoli occupies a suburban villa with a
garden. Rooms are cheerful, clean and comfortable but lack bathroom facilities (only two
showers and two toilets for 22 beds) and there's no communal kitchen. The apartment
sleeps two or three, and comes with small kitchen and private car park. There's free wi-fi
but internet access costs €4/hr.

This doyen of Pisan hotels, run with pride by the Piegaja
family since 1837, offers old-world luxury accompanied by warm, attentive service. The
word on the street says rooms vary, but those we saw were the perfect shabby-chic mix of
Grand Tour antique - love the parquet floors and flashes of exposed stone - and modern-
day comfort. Garage parking/bike hire is €20/15 per day, wi-fi is €2.50 per hour, breakfast
is €5.
