of the best resting places in Tsakhadzor is the Olympic Sports' Complex built in 1960s. 600
sportsmen can simultaneously train here almost in all the kinds of sport envisaged by the
Olympic Games' programme. In the woody area lying south of the Sports' Complex there
is a skiing track for holding competitions and training.
One of the tourist attractions of Tsakhadzor is also the ropeway stretching 6 kilometers
along Mt. Teghenis to the top. One of the historical and cultural monuments of Tsakhadzor
is the monastic complex of Kecharis which was erected in XI-XIII centuries and served as
a religious and cultural center.
