Take a look at what we have done so far. You've asked the query engine
to perform the
Sales YTD
calculation 1,280 times, adding the daily val-
ues to the previous values on each day of the same year. For December
31 of each year, it would add at least 365 values to calculate the value in
that cell, but it does all of this very quickly.
8. Add the
LastName
field from the
Customer
table to
ROWS
and notice how
long it takes.
9. Add the
EnglishProductName
field from the
Product
table. Go get a cof-
fee or take a break because this is going to take a while.
After a few minutes, Excel will display the message:
The PivotTable report
will not fit on the sheet. Do you want to display as much as possible?
Excel is indicating that the
PivotTable
size exceeds its limit.
10. Click on
OK
and scroll down to the bottom row.
