Perform the following steps for creating partitions through wizards:
1. To activate the Partition wizard in SSDT, you can click on the New Partition
link under any measure group on the partitions tab. To activate the same wiz-
ard in SSMS, right-click on the Partitions folder of a measure group and
select New Partition . The wizard works the same way using either of the
tools; since we already have SSDT open, let's continue working within SSDT.
2. After the welcome screen, the wizard asks you to choose the fact table to
be used as the partition source. Note that you can choose the data source
