EM is normally the preserve of the DBA team primarily concerned with availability and performance, but the
key point is that EM12c is also the most powerful security tool for reducing risk in large database estates and comes
pre-configured with security templates available to use (Certified and Oracle templates). Let's look at them now.
Certified Templates
Certified templates are security templates pre-written in 12c that are quite useful—but they are not editable or
readable (see Figure
17-7
).
