TOGAF process for architectural design
The above TOGAF process includes artifacts (things) that are described by their position within a framework,
where framework is the set of things that are included in the process. It is common to use the Zachman framework
(list of things) as a complement to TOGAF (the process of architectural design).
Zachman -
Framework/structure for organizing artifacts in an enterprise architecture
SABSA -
Security-focused version of Zachman; very similar
SABSA Security Architecture Framework
The framework outlined in Table
16-1
provides a shared vocabulary for the architecture design team to use when
communicating about the physical components and items that the architecture is composed of.
