OLD TOWN
The attractive Old Town streets are lined by fine, shuttered 18th-century mansions and
studded with fanciful gold-leaf fountains topped by anything from a banner-wielding
knight, Fontaine du Banneret (Rue Fleury) , to a maiden representing Justice, Fontaine de
la Justice (Rue de l'Hôpital) ; see a copy on the street and the original in the Musée d'Art et
d'Histoire.
Heading uphill along Rue du Château, walk through the medieval city gate to view the
