(Kornhausplatz 17; Mon-Sat) With its mix of wine-quaffing lefties, generation-of-68ers and
beer-loving students, this lovely Bohemian joint feels like a Parisian cafe-bar. It serves
toasted snacks. Service can be hit and miss, but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Shopping
Mooching around the Old Town boutiques, many tucked below the street in bunker-style
cellars or above in covered arcades, is delightful. Allow extra time for quaint
Gerechtigkeitsgasse and Postgasse with their myriad galleries, antiquarian bookshops,
small shops specialising in funky homewares and nifty boutiques.
