Key vocabulary to know before entering this timeless classic where everyone eats the
same dish is à point (medium), bien cuit (well done) and saignant (rare). Indeed the place
doesn't bother with menus. Sit down, say how you like your steak cooked and wait for it
arrive - two handsome servings of it (!) pre-empted by a green salad and accompanied by
perfectly crisp, skinny fries. Should you have room at the end of it all, the desserts are
justly raved about.
