Cairngorms National Park
The rounded, snow-patched mountains of the Cairngorms form the largest area of high
ground in Britain, with five of Scotland's six highest summits. The national park spreads
out around their shoulders, encompassing pine forests, lochs, rivers and waterfalls, home to
red deer, eagles, ospreys and wildcats.
