BALMAHA BOATYARD

Balmaha to the loch's four inhabited islands, departing at 11.30am and returning at 2pm,
with a one-hour stop on Inchmurrin (adult/child £9/4.50). Trips depart daily (except
Sunday) in July and August; on Monday, Thursday and Saturday in May, June and
September; and Monday and Thursday only October to April.

Other Activities
The mostly traffic-free Clyde and Loch Lomond Cycle Way links Glasgow to Balloch
(20 miles), where it links with the West Loch Lomond Cycle Path , which continues
along the loch shore to Tarbet (10 miles).
You can rent rowing boats at Balmaha Boatyard (see above) for £10/40 per hour/day
(or £20/60 for a boat with outboard motor). Lomond Adventure ( 01360-870218;

day) and sea kayaks (£25).
CanYou Experience ( 01389-756251; www.canyouexperience.com ; Loch Lomond Shores, Bal-
loch) rent out canoes (£12/17 per half-/full hour) and bicycles (£13/17 per three hours/full
day), and offer a full-day guided canoe safari on the loch (adult/child £65/55).
