Mackintosh House
The house where Glasgow architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh lived with his
wife from 1906 to 1914 was demolished due to subsidence in 1963. But it has risen from
the rubble in this faithful reconstruction (

lowing period drawings and photographs, furnished as much as possible with Mackintosh's
original furniture and fittings and decorated as it was when he lived there.
