E LIMINATE AN OBJECT
Adobe Photoshop steps
(0) Open the picture to adjust.
(1) Find the proper function in the menu bar or toolbox.
(a) The subtask involved was to look at the toolbox for a button resem-
bling the intended action. It was found in the group containing “Red
Eye Tool” as “Healing Brush Tool.” (See Figures 4.9-4.11.)
(b) Alternatively look through the menu bar items (especially in what
seemed as most related: Image -
Adjustments, and Filter) for a
relative command, but nothing was found. (An options bar appears
with the parameters of the brush.)

(2) Click on the object to eliminate. (A dialog window appears saying to option-
click to define the source.)
(3) Click “OK.”
(4) Option-click on the source.
