One-Click Red Eye Tool.
Enjoy simple, accurate correction of the “red eye” caused by retinal flash reflection,
with advanced control for pupil size and darkening effect when you want it.
Optical Lens Correction.
Quickly and efficiently correct a wide range of common camera lens distortion
flaws from a single easy-to-use interface. Eliminate barrel or pincushion distortion,
chromatic aberration, vignetting, and perspective flaws in all three dimensions, and
do it in one pass with simple, intuitive controls, a live preview, and an alignment
grid.
Multiple Layer Control with Smart Guides.
Intuitively select, align, group, and simultaneously move multiple layers on the doc-
ument canvas. Drag a marquee around objects on multiple layers to create a multi-
ple selection; shift-click to add new objects to the selection. Enable automatically-
appearing Smart Guides to help line up your objects and snap them to borders and
centers. Multiple Layer Control means enhanced efficiency.
Menu Customization.
Make it your Photoshop with customizable application menus. Photoshop CS2 comes
equipped with many preset workspaces already optimized for specific task-based
workflows, and you can quickly and easily create and save your own in the new Menu
Customization window. Enable, disable, and color-key menu commands with your
custom assigned keyboard shortcuts, then save your custom layout as a workspace
for one-click access.
GIMP
For the GIMP (GNU Project, 2009) we can choose among the following product-
description texts:
Customizable Interface.
Each task requires a different environment and GIMP allows you to customize the
view and behavior the way you like it. Starting from the widget theme, allowing you
to change colors, widget spacings, and icon sizes to custom tool sets in the toolbox.
The interface is modularized into so-called docks, allowing you to stack them into
tabs or keep them open in their own window. Pressing the tab key will toggle them
hidden.
GIMP features a great full screen mode allowing you to not only preview your
artwork but also do editing work while using the most of your screen estate (see also
Figure 3.2).
Photo Enhancement.
Numerous digital photo imperfections can be easily compensated for using GIMP.
