second-largest group of answers (20%) shows a preference for the middle left, where
according to the answers it gets much attention and is comfortable to read. The right
side can be thus left blank. (See Figure 8.17.)

Results summary.
Most of the respondents chose bottom center (45%) to hold detailed information, in
particular because it expands the main information located in the middle of the screen.
Middle center followed with 40%, and middle right with 35%. The common reasons
were logical relation and habits. (See Figure 8.18.)
Discussion/conclusion.
The hypothesis was not supported by the results. The majority of Chinese respondents
put real information in the middle level of the screen (middle row in the matrix),
overlaying it thus partly on the new and ideal information.
