Holding down Option/Alt while moving the Masking slider will temporarily show
your image in black and white. The white areas are where sharpening is being ap-
plied; the black areas are where no sharpening is being applied. The more you in-
crease the Masking slider, the more black you introduce. +75 is just enough to take
the sharpening away from the sky and apply it only where we want it ( Figure
10.18 ) .
