2. Looking at the line of the skirting board against the back wall, we can see that the
picture needs straightening. We can do this very quickly by double-clicking the
Straighten tool while the crop is still visible ( Figure 9.8 ).

3. If you're happy that the picture now looks straight, double-click the Hand tool to
commit the crop. If not, drag up or down just outside the crop until it looks right.
4. Most of the retouching for this picture will be completed in Photoshop, but before
we do that we can quickly clean the image up by removing marks on the back wall
and the floor with the Spot Removal tool set to Heal. There are also areas of the
floor where the glue holding the paper down has lifted it slightly, causing a rippled
effect; remove these using the Spot Removal tool ( Figure 9.9 ) .
