18. Add a layer mask by clicking the layer mask icon at the bottom of the Layers pan-
el. Parts of the tree may appear transparent; to fill these areas and add more fo-
liage, press Command/Ctrl+J three times. Then with the top copy highlighted,
Shift-click the layer at the bottom of the Layers panel ( Figure 8.21 ) . Then go to
Layer > Merge Visible.
