5. Apply a Gradient Overlay layer style. Change the blend mode to Overlay, and
click the Gradient bar to open the Gradient Editor. Choose the Black/White gradi-
ent (third from the left in the top row).
6. Click the white marker on the far right of the gradient. In the Gradient Editor, click
the color swatch, choose red, click OK, and click OK again to close the Gradient
Editor.
7. In the Gradient Overlay properties, reduce the opacity to 30% and click OK ( Fig-
ure 6.27 ) .
