If you didn't create your cutout using a layer mask, Command/Ctrl-click the layer
thumbnail.
3. With the selection active, go to Edit > Fill > Contents > Black, and click OK. This
fills the selection of the children in black ( Figure 5.23 ) . Go to Select > Deselect,
and with the Move tool (V) press the down arrow key on your keyboard
twice—just enough so you can see the black outline appearing around the chil-
dren's feet ( Figure 5.24 ) .
