Smart Dodging and Burning
Dodging and burning means to add dimension, depth, and direction by brightening and
darkening specific areas of a photograph.
Ordinarily we might use the dodge and burn tools directly on our pictures. But if we go too
far with the dodging and burning, as is very easily done, removing or reducing the effect
means undoing and then redoing lots of work.
