stormwater management in the New Jersey coastal zone, including a design man-
ual to be used for the evaluation of proposed stormwater management systems in
new land development. Cahill Associates prepared a detailed review of current
practices and evaluated new stormwater management technologies for their suit-
ability in the coastal zone. These BMPs were to be incorporated into the permit
review process of the Division of Coastal Resources to reduce or prevent further
pollution of coastal marine environments, and restore water quality.
