The Walk
The key ancient sites of Athens make for an action-packed but manageable walk from the
Temple of Olympian Zeus, past the Acropolis Museum and up to the Acropolis, then down
around the other side of the hallowed hill into the Plaka and Monastiraki neighbourhoods,
where you will find the Ancient Agora and Roman Agora. If you only have one day to see
the sights, this is the walk to take.
Start Temple of Olympian Zeus; Akropoli
Finish Ancient Agora; Monastiraki, Thisio
Length 2.4km; three hours
