The Sights in a Day
The magnificent collections at the National Archaeological Museum ( Click
here ) could easily fill your whole day - wander its rooms examining priceless
Greek art and artefacts. While you're there, zip alongside to the Epigraphical Museum (
Click here ) for ancient inscribed tablets.
Break for lunch at any of Exarhia's great restaurants, such as Yiantes ( Click
here ) , for a rather elegant setting, or Rozalia ( Click here ) , for taverna-style
family fare. Then take a stroll to look at the most modern of arts: fantastical and pointedly
messaged graffiti.
After a solid rest, plan for a late night bar-hopping Exarhia's renowned drinking
holes at Alexandrino ( Click here ) , for classic cocktails, Tralala ( Click here ) ,
for a bohemian scene, and Blue Fox ( Click here ) for retro style. Alternatively, settle in
for a round of edgy live music at An Club ( Click here ) and Ginger Ale ( Click here ) or
a late-night rembetika session at Kavouras ( Click here ) or Taximi ( Click here ).
