STANLEY PARK
One of North America's largest urban green spaces (even bigger than
New York's Central Park), Stanley Park is revered for its dramatic forest-
and-mountain oceanfront views. But there's more to this 400-hectare
woodland than just its looks. The park is studded with nature-hugging
trails, family-friendly attractions, sunset-loving beaches and a range of
places to eat, from picnic spots to top-notch restaurants. There's also the
occasional unexpected, off-the-beaten-path sight worth uncovering (and
we're not just talking about the raccoons that call the area home).
