Burgoo has mastered the art of gourmet comfort dining. Always check the seasonal
specials, then dive into a tasty fall-back position of Irish stew, butter chicken or irresist-
ible cheddar-packed mac-and-cheese. End with a glass of BC-made mead.
This is also a great spot for brunch: arrive early on weekends to beat the crowds and
go for the croque monsieur. And if you really like this place, keep your eyes peeled

One of the best places in the city for dim-sum,
this large, chatty Hong Kong-style joint has been a deserved local favorite for years.
Order an array of treats, then sit back for the feast, although you should expect to be
fighting over the Lazy Susan to see who gets the last mouthful. Seafood is a huge spe-
cialty here (hence the live tanks).
If it's a special occasion and you want to push out the boat, gorge on some king crab
legs.
