knicknacks here. But it's also easy to spend more than you planned, so keep an eye on

The smallest
of Pulpfiction's mini-empire of three Vancouver bookstores, this spartan-looking shop
has little decoration beyond its wood floors and well-stocked wooden bookshelves.
And what that shows, of course, is that it really is all about the topics here. An easy
spot to while away an hour of browsing, it's almost impossible not to find something
you want to buy here.
And, if you're a fast reader, you can try to resell it back to the store before you leave
for home: they have an active book-buying program here (although they're apparently
not very keen on anything by Dan Brown).

Dedicated to cut-price
chic for homes that don't have million-dollar budgets, you can find everything here
from bargain art prints to mod tablecloths. It's worth a peruse, especially if you have
room in your luggage for that floor-to-ceiling vase. There's an ever-changing array of
goods so it's worth revisiting, and there are often excellent sales.

Visiting greenies will enjoy dipping into this mini eco-department store that sells
everything from yoga mats to linen pajamas and bamboo-fiber sheets. Check out the
clothing section at the front of the store for hemp and organic cotton togs and save time
to peruse the range of natural soaps and bath treatments.
A good place to rub shoulders with local eco-chic Vancouverites, the staff is also
savvy about their all-natural product lines and happy to point you to other ethical busi-
nesses around the city.
