'No whale music and no bubbling cherubs,' as they say at
this tongue-in-cheek, trying-hard-not-to-be-pretentious spa. Come for deep-cleansing
masks, facial massages, scalp massages, foot 'facials' and muscle stimulation treat-
ments, all done by your 'personal skin-care trainer.' Skoah also sells its own line of all-
natural products, and it's one of the locals' fave spa operators.
If you can't make it to this their flagship spa, you'll also find branches in Kitsilano
and South Granville.

Granville Island, the friendly folks at Ecomarine offer guided kayak tours (from $65) as
well as kayak and stand-up paddle board (SUP) rentals. At the center's

shoulders with local paddle nuts. And from June to September, you'll also find these
guys renting kayaks on English Bay beach.
If you have time for just one guided kayak tour, take one of the cool sunset paddles
for a memorable experience you'll be telling everyone about when you get back home.
