types of gene regulation (e.g. posttranscriptional modifications or pro-
tein expression), our approach allows for revealing those sets of genes
that are coregulated at multiple instances. In fact, the ping-pong algo-
rithm 56 is particularly useful for these applications because it does not
require regulation data for identical sets of conditions, but automati-
cally identifies those conditions from both datasets that give the best
match for coregulation.
