Tours
Most cycling companies are used to local customers only, so tours may not appeal to
Western travellers. Routes are also often chosen for convenience and speed and may not
be particularly scenic. If a tour involves much riding on Provincial Hwy 1, avoid it.
In Motion Asia ( www.inmotionasia ) is a foreign-run company focusing on small
group mountain- and road-biking tours into remote areas. Giant Adventure
( www.giantcyclingworld.com/web/travel_en.php ) also runs a program of round the is-
land trips with full backup.
