To get to the restaurant, first head down the side road to the right of the Matsu Distil-
lery (towards Fuxing Village, aka Niujiao Village). Take the first right (following the
English signs to Leemo's) and then another right in 50m. Look for the stone house with
big glass windows.
Information
Taiwan's tourism department has information booths at the airport, the ferry terminal and
any number of attractions. There's now finally a small supply of English materials, in-
cluding the super-informative brochure Let's Backpack in Matsu .
Internet access is less uncommon on the island now. The airport and most homestays
provide wi-fi.
Bank of Taiwan (Táiwān Yínháng; Jieshou Village) The only place in Matsu to change
money; it also has a 24-hour ATM on the Cirrus network. You'd be smart to take what
you expect to spend on Matsu.
Getting There & Away

BOAT
Shinhwa Boat Company ( in Keelung 02-2424 6868, in Nangan 22395;
