way intersection (which is one block from the port) you'll see a narrow lane with the 201
road sign in front (to your right is a 7-Eleven, and to your left, a temple).
The village at Baisha Harbour has many small eateries. You can eat expensive fresh
seafood or simple stir-fries for less than NT$100. You can also buy sandwiches and
drinks from the village's 7-Eleven.
Samaji Liuqiu Campsite CAMPGROUND $

NT$1600) The cheapest accommodation on Little Liuchiu, Samaji offers terrific views
from its expansive cliffside perch on the west side of the island. Tents are provided but if
you bring your own it's NT$100 cheaper. It offers an onsite restaurant and bike rental
(NT$100 per hour).
Summer Flow B&B B&B $$$

from NT$2650; ) At the southern end of the island, this new homestay is diagonally op-
posite Haizikou Inlet , where you can swim. Rooms are simple but bright and airy. The
host, Hsiao Long, is a certified eco-guide and offers sea-life tours. His partner, Stella, can
interpret in English for him. Room rates include round-trip ferry tickets and scooter rent-
al.
Coco Resort CABIN $$$

NT$2600/3800) An old standby down County Rd 203 (Minzu Rd) that still looks as well
tended as ever. It's just a minute's scooter ride from the island's one and only 7-Eleven.
Information
There's an ATM in the 7-Eleven in Penfu Village. The visitor information centre (
861 4615; www.tbnsa.gov.tw ; 9am-5pm) is just above Lingshan Temple on the cliff. Very
little English is spoken but the view up here is good.
Little Liuchiu Island is part of the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. If you are so in-
