Yuyupas Park
Literally meaning 'affluent' or 'wealthy' in the Tsou language, Yuyupas (Yōuyóubasī
Zōuzú Wénhuà Bùluò; NT$300) is an eco-tourism initiative meant to help rebuild the liveli-
hood of the Tsou villagers in the destructive aftermath of Typhoon Morakot in 2009. At
an elevation of 1300m, the theme park is designed mainly for tour groups, but it's also a
family-friendly destination.
