- this is supposedly the company that began it all. On the pedestrian-only street, this
modern teahouse has outdoor seating and is pleasant on cool evenings.

Smooth Bar & Grill BAR
( 2329 3468; 5-7 Lane 50, Jingcheng Rd; drinks from NT$180; 3pm-1am) This long, long-
running bar and grill is well stocked and has a big-screen TV for watching sports.
There's also an international menu offering curries, steaks, pastas, goulash and more.

further up along Zhongzheng and Taizhonggang Rds.
