Ziqiang Night Market MARKET $
(cnr Heping & Ziqiang Rds) For local food head to this well-regarded market, southwest of
the train station (a taxi costs around NT$130). Things to try include barbecued pork,
spring rolls, stewed spare ribs ( dùn páigǔ ), coffin cake ( guāncái bǎn; different from the
Tainan style) and fresh fruit drinks. On weekends some of the popular stalls can have
very long waits.
