The return ticket system:
J. K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, specifically requested that the build-
ings to be made the scale. As such the area is very small and cannot accommodate a huge
amount of people.
During periods of high peak attendance you will be required to line up and collect a re-
entry ticket with a time slot to enter the land to explore it. This policy is sometimes only be
used at certain times of the day and it is impossible to know in advance whether it is being
used or not.
It is simply a case of turning up and seeing what is happening at a particular moment. On
days with a re-entry ticket system in place, expect very high wait times for all attractions
within the land - this is merely a way of limiting the number of people in the land, it is not
an Express Pass. When this system is in operation you can usually also opt to stand in a
line to get into the WWOHP instead - we recommend you do not do this and get a re-entry
ticket instead, using the time to explore the rest of the park.
