The parade route starts by the Universal's Horror Make Up Show attraction and moves
across to the lagoon, past TRANSFORMERS , round the front of Revenge of the Mummy,
down pasta the Universal Stage and Despicable Me and back along Hollywood Boulevard
ending next to Universal's Horror Make Up Show .
One of the best things about Universal's Superstar Parade is that it is nowhere near as
crowded as the nearby Disney park parades - many people simply do not know it exists;
others just go to Universal for the thrills. Having said this, although the parade is enjoyable
it is nowhere near the standards of a Disney parade and is very basic in its nature.
The parade is performed once each day - the time will be printed on your park map.
Top Tip: Twice per day, before the parade starts there are dance parties hosted by Mel's
Drive-In twice. During the dance parties floats and characters from the parade will come
out to meet and greet, dance and sign autographs.
Universal's Cinematic Spectacular - 100 Years of Movie Memories
Universal's way to bid you goodnight is with its nightly “Cinematic Spectacular”, a nos-
talgic viewing of highlights from Universal movies of the last 100 years. The show takes
placeonthelagooninthemiddleoftheparkandfeatureswaterscreens,agreatsoundtrack,
fountains and fireworks. The show is thematically split up into categories such as humor
and horror with clips from famous films shown on water curtains.
