In-Depth Information
During the journey you can gaze out of the windows and see Hagrid on his motorcycle, the
English countryside, Buckbeak the Hippogriff, the purple Knightbus, the Weasley twins on
brooms, and even Dementors. There are more surprises in store too. Each of the Hogwarts
Express trains seats 200 passengers, with trips in each direction being unique.
Once you hop off the train at Hogsmeade you will be able to explore the area and the Harry
Potter themed attractions including the incredible 'HarryPotter andthe Forbidden Journey'
ride. This train is the first ever inter-park ride!
Important: In order to experience the Hogwarts Express attraction visitors must have a
park-to-park ticket. A single park ticket will not allow visitors to experience this ride -
guestswillstill,ofcourse,beabletoexperienceeachofthethemeparks'WizardingWorlds
on separate days but not use the Hogwarts Express to travel between them.
Interactive Wand Experiences:
An interactive wand experience is available at the Wizarding World, both at Diagon Alley
and Hogsmeade - this additional experience launched with the opening of Diagon Alley. In
order to participate, guests must purchase an interactive wand from the Wizarding World
priced at $45, around $10 more than the non-interactive wands.
Once you have purchased a wand, look for bronze medallions embedded in the streets that
mark the various shop windows where you can cast spells. A map of the locations is in-
cluded with each wand. Once you are standing on one of the medallions, just perform the
correct spell (by drawing the shape of the spell in the air with your wand and saying the
name of the spell - all shown on the medallions on the floor) and watch the magic come to
life. This is a really fun bit of extra entertainment, especially as your wands can be reused
again and again during future visits.
Diagon Alley Entertainment:

does in Islands of Adventure. Inside the Carkitt Market area, two shows are performed
daily:
The first show brings to life two fables from The Tales of Beedle the Bard - “The Foun-
tain of Fair Fortune” and “The Tale of the Three Brothers” (which was featured in the sev-
enth film). Performed by a troupe of four from the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts,
this trunk show uses scenic pieces, props and puppetry fabricated by Emmy-award-win-
ning designer Michael Curry.
