In-Depth Information
The resort does not have a sit down restaurant though you are close enough to visit
CityWalk if you so desire. Instead the resort features a large food court and food trucks out-
side. In-room pizza delivery will also be offered.
Perhaps the biggest surprise is the exceptional entertainment on offer - there is a 10-lane
bowling alley ($15 per game, shoe rental $4 per pair, and food is available), poolside
movies and activities, and a games room. The resort will also feature two pools, a store and
a fitness center, which includes both cardiovascular, and resistance equipment.
There are two pools at the resort. The main pool at 10,000 square feet has a water slide and
a zero entry feature, and the smaller 8000 square foot pool also has a zero entry for greater
accessibility as well as a sandy beach. The smaller pool even has a lazy river going around
it spanning 700 feet. Free poolside activities happen throughout the day.
The Jack Lalanne branded fitness center onsite is complimentary -making it a much better
deal than at the other deluxe resorts where a per-day charge is required.
Self-service laundry is available for $3 per wash and $3 per dryer load.

There are however a few downsides to this resort: guests staying at Cabana Bay will NOT
receive complimentary Express Passes - this is usually cited as one of the main reasons for
staying on site. Guests will also not be able to reach the hotel via water taxis and must use
buses instead or be prepared to walk up to 25 minutes from their room to the theme parks
and CityWalk . Parking is charged at $10 per night for self-parking, payable at check-in.
