Accommodation:
Deciding where you stay whilst on vacation is an important decision: you must consider
price, availability, size, location and amenities in order to find the perfect room for you.
Luckily, the central Florida area is renowned for having an incredible range of accommoda-
tion options to suit all tastes and budgets.
There are numerous nearby hotels that are not located on Universal property which are more
reasonably priced than the on-site options. However, we feel that for the full Universal ex-
perience you should stay at one of the on-site hotels if you can afford the extra cost. You will
be just minutes away from one of the most fun places in Orlando, and some would argue
that the benefits of staying on-site more than make up for the extra cost.
The current portfolio of on-site hotels is made up of three “deluxe” hotel resorts (Royal Pa-
cific, Portofino Bay and the Hard Rock Hotel) and a “moderate/value” resort (Cabana Bay).
This range of accommodation options will be expanded in the future with a new hotel open-
ing up in summer 2016.

Staying at any one of the three deluxe on-site hotels will allow you to enjoy the following
benefits:
• FREE Universal Express Unlimited ride access to skip the regular lines in
both theme parks all day, a benefit that can be worth over $100 per person,
per day depending on when you visit.
• Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter one hour be-
fore the theme park opens to regular guests.
• Complimentary water taxis, shuttle buses or walking paths to both theme
parks and Universal CityWalk.
• Priority seating at select restaurants throughout both theme parks and
CityWalk.
Staying at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort entitles you to the following privileges:
• Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, one hour be-
fore the theme parks open.
