In this touring plan we will detail how to hit the biggest attractions in both parks. It is not
feasible to do all attractions at the two parks in just one day, so we have listed the must-dos
here. Remember you will need a Universal Park-to-Park ticket to access both parks on the
same day. Note that doing the best of both parks in one day has become much more diffi-
cult since the addition of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley and its rides
to the Universal Orlando Resort. It is reasonably likely that you will not be able to com-
plete this plan during extremely busy days. This touring plan assumes high crowds and the
parks are open until at least 9:00pm. It can also work for lower crowds and shorter opening
times.
1. Be at the turnstiles of Universal Studios Florida with your ticket in hand
before park opening. Be there 45 minutes or more before the park is set to
open, as queues build quickly. Proceed through the turnstiles, grab a park
map and head straight ahead towards Despicable Me on your left hand side.
Ride it.
2. Ride Transformers: The Ride. Use the single rider line to save time if you
can.
3. Ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit . Use the single rider line to save time if
you can. You have now ridden three of the rides with the longest waits in
this park.
4. Now be prepared to walk all the way across the park. Ride The Simpsons
Ride .
5. If it is past 12:30pm at this point, skip this step. Otherwise, Ride MEN IN
BLACK: Alien Attack .
6. Ride Revenge of the Mummy .

ic Universal Horror Make-Up Show . Work this around your lunch so either
watch it before or after lunch - try to be there 20 minutes early as the theatre
is fairly small.
8. Lunch - we recommend Monsters' Cafe if you are staying in Universal Stu-
dios Florida and want a quick meal. Having a table service meal will seri-
ously impede your ability to see the most of both parks in a day.
9. Now it is time for the long walk as you make your way over to the other
theme park - Universal's Islands of Adventure . Be prepared for long queue
lines as this is the busiest point in the day - however lines will still gener-
ally be shorter than at Universal Studios Florida , which is why we started
there.
