will need to skip the Mardi Gras Parade altogether or watch it from as close to the Music
Plaza stage area as possible.
The highlight of the day for many is the Mardi Gras Parade with colorful floats and incred-
ible music - be prepared for the traditional throwing of the beads from the floats for you to
catch.
The French Quarter Courtyard area offers live New Orleans-style music and many stalls
with local cuisine including jambalaya and gumbo. It opens at 4:00pm and closes at the
concert start time.
A one-day after 5:00pm ticket is available to Florida residents only for $69.99 plus tax in
advance (Call 407-224-7840) or $94.99 plus tax at the gate. These prices are for 2014 and
may increase for the 2015 Mardi Gras event.

Top Tip 1:
Note that when the parade starts the regular shows and attractions at the park
will stop operating for the day.
Top Tip 2
: Annual Pass-holders will be pleased to hear that there is a special parade view-
ing area reserved just for them.
