Express Guest Assistance Pass:
The Express Guest Assistance Pass is used in situations where waiting in any form of long
queue or having to return later is simply not possible and therefore the classic Universal
Attractions Assistance Pass is not suitable - as such it is for a much more limited number
of guests and is more difficult to obtain. This Pass once again does not requires proof from
a doctor's note but it can really help in this situation. You may need to ask to speak to a
manager to obtain this card.
Generally speaking the Express Guest Assistance Pass is for guests with certain mental
health disorders, though a full list is not disclosed. This Pass will allow you to enter the
alternative queue instantly without the return time wait. However, this is NOT a front-of-
the-line ticket and you must wait in the alternative queue. The Express GAP is not valid at
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts and the Hogwarts Express at Universal Stu-
dios Florida. It is also not valid at Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, the Hogwarts
Express, and Pteranodon Flyers at Islands of Adventure . If you wish to visit the above
rides, then a classic Attraction Assistance Pass will be needed as well or you will need to
use the normal queue line instead. Overall, this Pass acts very similarly to the Universal
Express Pass Unlimited.
Other accommodations for disabled guests:
Deaf/Hard of Hearing - For guests who are deaf or hard of hearing, many in-park shows
have interpreted performances. These are printed on the park map. Closed captioning and
assistive listening devices, guidebooks for guests with disabilities, and attraction scripts are
available at Guest Services in each theme park as well.
Mobility Impairment and wheelchairs - The whole of Universal Orlando has been de-
signed to be as wheelchair-accessible as possible with ramps instead of steps and all shop-
ping and dining facilities being accessible. Guests who would like to use a stroller as a
wheelchair should ask for a special tag from Guest Services.
