interest. One major advantage of OpenStreetMap is the ability to access the
underlying vector data, although the rendered, tile-based map is used here. The
example in Fig. 5 shows how a marker is added to a map with the OpenStreetMap
API. Although perhaps more functional, the OpenStreetMap code is longer and
more complicated than other mapping APIs.
