FLIGHTS FROM UK & IRELAND
British Airways ( www.britishairways.com ) The most direct route flies to Denver where
US carriers connect to Jackson Hole (11 hours plus layover time). Also consider Americ-
an, United, Delta and Virgin Atlantic.
FLIGHTS FROM AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND
Route through Los Angeles or San Francisco before continuing on to regional airports.
Via the Pacific route, the first leg is 12 to 14 hours. Flying through Asia probably means
spending a night or considerable layover time in a connecting city.
Land
Bus
Unfortunately, long-distance bus services are a slow, somewhat infrequent and highly in-
convenient way to get to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. But they will get
you to major cities, from where you could then rent a car or bicycle or book a local shuttle
service.
Companies may charge extra to transport skis or bicycles.
Alltrans Jackson Hole Express ( 307-733-1719, 800-443-6133;
www.jacksonholebus.com ) Daily service from Jackson to Salt Lake City.
Greyhound ( 800-231-2222; www.greyhound.com ) The major long-distance bus com-
pany, with routes to Cody, Wyoming, and Bozeman, Montana. Greyhound's Discovery
Pass ( www.discoverypass.com ) can be a good deal for traveling throughout the US and
Canada. Passes are valid for anything from one week to two months. Consider purchasing
two short-term passes if you're planning to stay in one place a while.
Karst Stage (406-556-3540; www.karststage.com ) Airport shuttle service from Boze-
man's Gallatin Field to Big Sky and West Yellowstone.
