up other apps, from hiking guides to a list of park toilet facilities.
» Go old school with an audio book. Tim Cahill's Lost in My Own Backyard is avail-
able on audio CD or MP3 and is read by the author.

dio tours of both Yellowstone and Grand Teton parks for $10.
» For something even snazzier the Virtual Tour Guide ( 877-SELF TOUR;
www.virtualtourguide.net ; 116 Grizzly Ave, West Yellowstone ) is a rentable GPS unit
with a touch screen that gives you directions to points of interest and offers tips to
spot wildlife. You can rent it at any of Yellowstone's gateway towns and drop it off at
another, but it's not cheap at around $50/90 for one/two days.
